UEFA Champions League: Dinamo Zagreb 0 : 2 Paris St.Germain

Another poor home crowd witnessed a spirited Dinamo Zagreb side go down 2:0 to French side Paris St. Germain in the UEFA Champions League in Zagreb tonight.

Despite pre-match marketing and the promise of 10 lucky fans winning 100,000 kuna (13,000 euros) each, only 6,500 fans turned up to Maksimir stadium, and what they saw was a Dinamo side who put in their best performance to date in the Champions League.

A 10-minute spell midway through the first half killed the game off for Dinamo, when Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jeremy Menez scored for the Parisians.

The loss was Dinamo’s 9th consecutive UEFA Champions League loss.
