Croatian football celebrates season’s best at SuperSport HNL Awards

ZAGREB, 26 May 2026 – Croatian football celebrated the end of the 2025/26 season on Monday evening with the annual SuperSport HNL Awards ceremony held at the Mozaik Event Centre in Zagreb.
Organised by the Croatian Football Federation and league title sponsor SuperSport, the event brought together leading names from Croatian football, including players, coaches, club representatives, former footballers and league partners.
Broadcast live on television, the ceremony combined a sporting celebration with the atmosphere of a major gala event, featuring a red carpet and a number of guests from Croatia’s sporting and public life.
Awards were presented across eight categories, including Team of the Season, Best Coach, Best Goal powered by MAXSport, Best Save, Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, Best Young Player and Player of the Season.

The final selections were made through a combined voting system involving the SuperSport HNL panel (40%), SuperSport HNL clubs (40%) and fans (20%).
NK Osijek goalkeeper Marko Malenica was named Best Goalkeeper after recording the most clean sheets during the season.

The Top Scorer award went to GNK Dinamo striker Dion Drena Beljo, who finished the campaign with an impressive 31 league goals.

Dinamo’s Luka Stojković was named Best Young Player, while Dinamo coach Mario Kovačević received the Best Coach award.

Tomislav Duvnjak of Varaždin won the Best Goal award, while Hajduk’s Toni Silić received recognition for Best Save.
In the evening’s main individual category, Dinamo forward Dion Drena Beljo was named Player of the Season, completing a successful night for the Croatian champions, who secured the domestic double this season.

The SuperSport HNL Team of the Season was also announced, recognising players who made the biggest impact throughout the campaign.
The Best XI for the 2025/26 season includes: Marko Malenica, Ante Oreč, Scott McKenna, Sergi Domínguez, Marko Pajač, Josip Mišić, Luka Stojković, Miha Zajc, Aleksa Latković, Ante Rebić and Dion Drena Beljo.

Croatian Football Federation president Marijan Kustić congratulated the winners and praised the development of the league both on and off the pitch.
He highlighted Dinamo’s strong presence among the winners following their domestic double and said the event demonstrated the commercial and marketing progress made by the league in recent years.
SuperSport board member Goran Đurić said the SuperSport HNL continues to showcase the quality, passion and potential of Croatian football, adding that the league continues to grow both competitively and commercially with each passing season.
