Dejan Lovren to represent Croatia in FIFA 20 tournament

Dejan Lovren will represent Croatia in the FIFA 20 tournament being organised by 433.com. 

With all football in the foreseeable future cancelled, including Euro 2020, the world’s leading social media football platform 433 is organising a 32-nation competition which will see professional football players go up against each other in FIFA 20. 

Footballers across Europe are signing up as they look to pass the time during quarantine and Liverpool defender Lovren will represent Croatia. 

433 posted the early details of the competition on their Instagram page. 

“We will provide a much-needed dose of football in a period of football drought. 32 pro players will compete against each other in FIFA 20,” 433 said in the statement. 

The FIFA 20 tournament is set to begin next week with the winner crowned the ‘champion of Europe’. The matches will be streamed live for fans across to watch.

Dinamo Zagreb attacker Amer Gojak will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina, whilst Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka has signed up for Switzerland. 

Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood and Daniel James will represent England and Wales respectively, while Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte will ‘play’ for France.
