Dead Kennedys Former Lead Singer Jello Biafra to Play Zagreb

Biafra, who continued to collaborate and record with other artists after Dead Kennedys broke up in 1986, will play at Vintage Industrial Bar in Zagreb on 28 August. Biafra will come to Zagreb with his current band – The Guantanamo School of Medicine.

Formed in 1978, the Dead Kennedys quickly became part of the American hardcore punk movement of the early 1980s. They gained a large underground fanbase in the international punk rock community, and were one of the first American hardcore bands to make a significant impact in the UK.

Biafra is now a member of the Green Party of the United States and actively supports various political causes and is a staunch believer in a free society.
