Davis Cup: Croatia Names Team for Quarterfinal Clash Against Kazakhstan

Croatia Davis Cup team coach Zeljko Krajan has announced his team to face Kazakhstan in the quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Croatia will face Kazakhstan for a place in the Davis Cup semi-final in the northern Croatian city of Varazdin from 6-8 April.

Krajan has named a full-strength team for the singles with World No.3 Marin Cilic and the inform Borna Coric (No.36) both included. Viktor Galovic (187) has also been selected.

World No.8 doubles player Ivan Dodig will play with most likely with Nikola Mektić (No.32). Mate Pavic has not been selected.

The tie, which will be played at Arena Varazdin, will be the first time the two countries have met. The winner will play the winner of the USA-Belgium tie in the semi-final. If Croatia beats Kazakhstan they will have the home advantage for semi-final tie.

Tickets for the tie are available via ulaznice.hr with the three-day package going for between 150-200 kuna. Tickets for Friday and Sunday cost 80 kuna, with tickets for Sunday 75 kuna.
