1 November 2019 – Last week, dates for the Australian leg of the exclusive international screening tour for much-anticipated film about the life of retired Croatian General Ante Gotovina were announced-
The film ‘General’, which was released in Croatia in August, is directed by Antun Vrdoljak and stars Goran Višnjić as Ante Gotovina.
After a successful turnout across Canada last week for the film, The Croatian Project has announced dates and venues for the Australian leg of the tour.

GOLD COAST – 13 November – HOTA, 135 Bundall Road, Surfers Paradise, 6:30 pm
SYDNEY – 14 November – Ritz Cinemas, 45 St. Paul’s St, Randwick, 6:30 pm
MELBOURNE – 15 November – Village Cinemas, 80 Harvester Road, Sunshine, 6:30 pm
CANBERRA – 17 November – Capitol Cinema Manuka, 3 pm
ADELAIDE – 19 November – Palace Nova Eastend, 7 pm
PERTH – 21 November – 2 locations – Palace Raine Square, 300 Murray St, 6:30 pm & Palace cinema Paradiso, 164 James St, Northbridge, 7 pm
The film will be shown with English subtitles.
The film also stars actors Boris Svrtan, Tarik Filipović, Rene Bitorajac, Goran Navojec and Nataša Janjić. Around 1,000 extras were involved in filming, which took place at 10 locations around Croatia, including Sveti Rok in the Lika-Senj County, Zadar, Imotski, Pirovac, and Pag, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
