Darijo Srna’s Shaktar Donetsk To Play Hajduk Split In Friendly At Poljud This Summer

UEFA Cup winners and current Ukrainian champions Shaktar Donetsk will play Croatia’s Hajduk Split in a friendly match at Split’s Poljud stadium this summer, says daily Slobodna Dalmacija.

Shaktar Donetsk, whose captain is the current Croatia captain and former Hajduk Split player Darijo Srna, were originally scheduled to play Hajduk in 2012 to celebrates its 101 birthday but the match never went ahead. Croatia striker Eduardo da Silva will also play for Donetsk in Split.
