Croatia’s Damir Martin has won the gold medal in the Men’s Single Sculls competition at the European Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland on Sunday…
Martin won the final in a time of 6:41.65, setting a new European Championship record for the event. The 26-year-old from Vukovar lead from start to finish to beat Czech Republic’s Ondreja Syneka who finished in second place with a time of 6:46.40.
The gold medal is another for Martin’s growing collection. He already has an Olympic Games silver medal and two World Championship gold medals.
