A group of around 20 hardened cyclists have set off from Zagreb’s Bundek park in the early hours of Wednesday morning on a 330-kilometre journey to the Istrian town of Motovun…

Inspired by the Danish city of Copenhagen, which is renowned as the best cycling city in the world, the cyclists are on a 3-day special mission – to deliver the rich Danish programme which will be featured at the popular Motovun Film Festival this year. The keen group will make two rest stops, in Ogulin and Rijeka, before arriving on the eve of the festival on Friday.

The cyclists actions are being wholeheartedly supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Croatia. You can follow the groups path to the festival on Motovun Film Festival’s Instagram profile, or on the Facebook page of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark.
