Croats in Ireland send humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in Croatia

ZAGREB, 10 January (Hina) – A truck with humanitarian aid raised by Croats living in Ireland  set out for the earthquake-hit areas of central Croatia on Saturday evening, the organisers said.

The organisers said they were particularly grateful to the website www.irska.ie for their assistance and support.

Humanitarian aid parcels will be delivered to the Veterani Petrinja Motorcycle Club and the Capriccia Centre and distributed to those in need in Petrinja and surrounding communities.

There are currently around 21,500 Croats living in Ireland and they are connected via the portal www.irska.ie and the Facebook page Facebook.com/irska.ie. Information on the collection of aid was published on the page Ireland-for-Petrinja.
