Croats Among World’s Biggest Pirated Video Game Downloaders

Croatia is among the leaders in the world when it comes to downloading the most pirated video games. Croatia was in the top 10 nations in the world to download pirated video games via BitTorrent in a three-month period in both 2010 and 2011, according to research data published by the International Journal of Advanced Media and Communication magazine.

During the three monts period, BitTorrent had over 12.6 million users from 250 countries with the most ‘downloaders’ coming from Romania, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, Italy, Armenia, Serbia and Portugal. ‘Darksiders’, ‘Fallout: New Vegas’, NBA 2K11′, ‘The Sims 3: Late Night’, ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’, and ‘Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit’ were the most downloaded games.
