Croats Abroad Weekend Roundup: Modric Stars, Mandzukic Top Goal Scorer

Luka Modric again has turned in a stella performance for his club Real Madrid on the weekend. Modric, who played the full 90 minutes, was busy all game and played a part in three of Real Madrid’s five goals in there 5:0 win over Mallorca in the Spanish league.

Meanwhile, Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic scored again for his German side Bayern Munich in their 1:2 loss to Bayer Leverkusen to retain his place as top goal scorer in the German bundesliga with eight goals.

Nikica Jelavic played all 90 minutes for Everton in their 2:2 draw in the Merseyside derby with Liverpool in Sunday at Goodison park. Ivan Rakitic played all 90 minutes in his side Seville’s 2:1 loss to Zaragoza in the Spanish league.
