Croatia will have a contender in the ‘Album of the Year’ category at the Independent Music Companies Association’s awards…

Dunja Ercegović, better known as Lovely Quinces, has been nominated for the album of the year award for ‘Meet Me in Moscow (Part One)’. Ercegović, who broke onto the scene a couple of years ago, has continued to make strides in the indie music scene, appearing recently with Giant Sand, Thurston Moore Band, Morcheeba, Tme Impala and Kurt Vile. She has also played at Waves Vienna and SXSW Festivals.

This will be the 5th year that the Independent Music Companies Association’s (IMPALA) awards will be held. Lovely Quinces’ album was selected to be the Croatian independent label contender for the 2015 European Indie Album of the Year by a committee featuring musicians, music critics, and an IMPALA member.
