Šibenik, 17 April 2025 – Who makes the best pršut (prosciutto) in Croatia this year? We’ll find out on 25 April in Šibenik, the proud host of the 11th Croatian Pršut Days.
This traditional event, organised by the Croatian Pršut Cluster, has been celebrating the rich heritage and exceptional quality of Croatian pršut for over a decade—bringing together producers, experts, and food lovers alike.
The spotlight is exclusively on protected pršuts, and Croatia boasts four of them. Krk, Drniš, and Dalmatian pršuts all hold the EU’s Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), while Istrian pršuts carries the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) label.

On Saturday, 26 April, the festivities move to Pavle Šubić Square, where locals and tourists alike will have the chance to taste and purchase the finest Croatian pršut at special promotional prices.

“Despite challenges such as the pandemic, inflation, and African swine fever, our producers have managed to maintain consistent production—testament to their dedication and expertise. We invite all food lovers, professionals, and producers to join us on 25 April at D-Resort in Šibenik, and we warmly welcome the public to visit us on 26 April at Pavle Šubić Square.”
