Zlatni rat is arguably Croatia’s most famous beach, often making ‘best of’ lists around the world. 

Translated as Golden horn, Zlatni rat beach is located in Bol on the island of Brač and has been made famous thanks to its unique shape that with the pine grove covered pebble beach  arrowing into the Adriatic Sea.

Whilst not as photogenic, but still stunning, there is another Zlatni rat-esq beach in Croatia which does not enjoy nearly the same amount of publicity.  

Plaža Pisak, located in Seline, a small place under the Velebit mountain in Starigrad near Zadar. Accessible by trail, Pisak is a natural phenomenon caused by landslides from Velebit over Mala Paklenica.
