Croatians Win Best Foreign Film at Daytona Beach Festival

Halimin-put11Halimin Put (Halima’s Path) by Croatian film director Arsen Ostojic has been awarded the Best Foreign Film award prize at the 11th Daytona Beach Film Festival which ended this week in Florida.

Halimin Put, which beat 20 other international films for the award, is a story about a grieving, but strong-willed Muslim woman, Halima, who must track down her estranged niece in order to recover the body of her son lost during the war in Bosnia in the 1990′s.
