Croatian Volunteers Go to Fight in Ukraine War

wikiCroatia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the nation’s Security and Intelligence Agency (SOA) are tracking the Croatian citizens who have gone to fight in the Ukraine conflict…

It was revealed this week that a number of Croatian volunteers had gone to the Ukraine to join up with the Ukrainian army to help them in the bloody conflict which is going on at the moment with Russia.

“To our knowledge there are Croats there, they have joined the Ukrainian army and SOA is following it all,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs Vesna Pusić, adding that she was unsure of the exact number who have gone off to fight.

Some reports suggest that around 30 people have gone from Croatia, mostly people in their late 30’s to late 40’s who were involved in Croatia’s homeland war, reports Sloboda.hr. (photo / wikimedia commons)
