10 May 2019 – The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ), in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board, is organising for the first time business workshops in Australia, HTZ announced on Friday.

The presentation of Croatia and Slovenia and the workshop titled “Experience Croatia, Feel Slovenia” will be held on the 2nd of July in Melbourne and on the 4th of July in Sydney.

“Considering that the workshops are being organised for the first time on the large Australian market, we invite all partners who we work with at fairs and workshops to participate, as well as to all those who recognise the potential of our country in the Australian market,” said HTZ director Kristjan Staničić.

Last year around 243,000 tourists arrived in Croatia from Australia, creating 745,000 overnight stays, this is 15% more arrivals and 12% more overnight stays than the previous year.

Those interested in taking part in the workshops in Melbourne and Sydney must complete an online application by 20 May 2019.

The application, as well as more information can be found on HTZ’s website here.
