Croatian Telecom Giants Looks To Engery And Food For Growth

Telecommunications giants Croatian Telecom (Hrvatski Telekom), who are part of the German Deutsche Telekom group, have confirmed that they could diversify and enter the energy market in Croatia by the end of this year. A possible move into the food business has also not been ruled out, reports Jutarnji list.
The news that the telecommunications company will begin to sell energy comes on the back of poor financial results for the first part of the year, with share prices dropping yesterday by 3.37%, the lowest price in the last four years. The diversification comes as Croatia’s leading telecommunications services provider looks at ways to ensure growth for its shareholders.
