Croatian Slovenian Biathlete Becomes World Champion

Fak won the individual 15km mass start gold in a thrilling finish on Sunday, his first World Championship win since his 20km individual success in 2012. Fak, who was a member of the Croatian biathlon team and won a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2009 and another bronze at the 2010 Winter Olympics where he had the honor of carrying his nation’s’ flag in the opening ceremony, switched to represent Slovenia in 2010.
