Croatian Singer Vinko Coce Dies (59)

VinkoWell known Croatian singer and tenor Vinko Coce has died overnight in hospital in the Dalmatian city of Split, reports daily 24sata.

Coce (59) passed away at around 1am on Sunday morning after more than 4 months in hospital after picking up a serious infection. Coce was born on 22 December 1954 in Trogir, near Split. His talent for singing was discovered at an early age, and at the age of 15 he become a tenor with the quintet Mali Kanti. Coce went on to enjoy a successful solo career and also had the privilege of singing with Italian legend Luciano Pavarotti.
