Croatian Singer Performs Concert to Prison Inmates in US

CroatiaCroatian singer Tatjana Matejaš, better known as Tajči and famous for her 1990 Eurovision hit Hajde da ludujemo (Let’s go crazy!), has performed a rather unique concert in America…

Over Christmas Tatjana wanted to share love and peace and performed at the Lansing Prison in Kansas in front of 112 heavily guarded prisoners, many of whom who were inside for serious crimes and will never be released from prison.

“It was a great honour, but also a great gift to sing  to those people. My music is honest, I do not sing if I do not feel something deep inside and if do not understand every word I am singing, ” said Tatjana, who moved to live in the USA in the 1990’s.

“Her message was very special for these men, especially at Christmas time,” said manager of  Lansing Prison Rex Pryor.
