After a successful trip to South Korea, where he introduced a new collaboration between his band Jelusick and South Korea’s most renowned rock band YB, Croatian rock artist Dino Jelusić continued his journey in Asia with a stop in Indonesia.

There, he delivered a powerful performance at the Jakarta Formula E-Prix this past weekend.

Performing in front of tens of thousands of fans at the Ancol circuit in the Indonesian capital, Jelusić joined forces with members of Indonesia’s iconic band Dewa 19 All Stars and legendary vocalist Jeff Scott Soto.

The concert was part of the 11th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

“Being part of such a big and original project like this performance with Dewa 19 All Stars at the Jakarta E-Prix is a huge honour for me. Formula E is not just a race – it is a fusion of technology, sustainability, music and urban culture, all of which are incredibly important today,” said Jelusić.

This was not his first visit to Indonesia, a country that continues to impress him. “Indonesia amazes me every time. The culture, food, and the people, whose kindness and hospitality are unmatched. I already feel like one of them and will happily return at every opportunity,” he added.

Formula E has been gaining momentum in recent years, particularly among younger, environmentally conscious fans. Races are held in major cities such as London, Berlin, New York, Rome and Seoul, with Jakarta being a key stop on the calendar.

This trip marks another significant step for Dino in his growing presence on the Asian music scene. He is set to return to South Korea in August as part of the Odyssey project, a cultural and musical exchange between Jelusick and YB.

The project includes a series of joint performances in both countries. Jelusick will tour South Korea in August, while YB is scheduled to perform in Croatia later in the year.

Following the Korean tour, Jelusick has a busy summer and autumn ahead. After last year’s sold-out show at Tvornica, the band is returning to Zagreb on 11 October, where they will perform at Boogaloo.

“We love playing in Zagreb and cannot wait for Boogaloo. We are especially excited to perform new songs from the album we have been working on these past months. See you in Boogaloo on 11 October,” Jelusić announced.

The news of the Zagreb concert follows the release of three successful singles – Power to the People, How Many Times, and Hangman – in anticipation of their upcoming album, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut Follow the Blind Man.

In addition to the Zagreb show, Jelusick are set to perform at several festivals and venues this summer, including Sun and Thunder Festival in Malaga, Spain (17–19 July), OK Fest in Tjentište, Bosnia and Herzegovina (20 July), Izola, Slovenia (25 July) and Skogsröjet in Sweden (1 August).

“This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime projects – joining forces with a band like YB, which has such a strong presence in the Asian music scene, is both an honour and a fantastic opportunity. We are thrilled to bring our music to Korean audiences and to welcome YB to Croatia, representing our country in the best possible way,” said Jelusić.
