Grabar-Kitarović is in New York on Friday where she will attend a United Nations commemorative event to mark International Women’s Day. Grabar-Kitarovic will lead a panel at the event titled ‘Ensuring access to quality education and development skills as a means of empowering women and girls’. During her stay at the United Nations headquarters, she is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and General Assembly President Sam K. Kutesa.
Over the weekend the Croatian President will meet with the Croatian community in New York, as well as Croatian business people and investors. On 9 March Grabar-Kitarović will participate in an international conference on gender equality organised by the Clinton Foundation.
