Croatian Police Head to Slovenia to Patrol Slopes

Croatia_It is not just thousands of keen Croatian skiers who have this week headed for the slopes in neighbouring Slovenia…

Four Croatian police officers have also departed and will patrol resorts during the month of January with their Slovenian colleagues as the law enforcement partnership between the two nations continues. The Croatian officers will be based at Rogla and Kranjska Gora ski resorts as thousands of Croatian winter holiday makers make the short trip to the popular resorts.

Cooperation between the two nations has already been going on for the past few years during the busy summer tourist season in Croatia, with Croatia inviting Slovenian officers to help patrol areas of the country. Croatia is a popular tourist destination for Slovenians, with around a million of them visiting the country every year.
