Croatian Pianist To Take Australia On Walk Through Time With 3 Greats

Having graced the recital halls of Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, France and the United States, Australians will be the next to experience first hand the genius of Croatian pianist Inja Davidovic when she presents ‘A Walk Through Time with Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin’ at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on 24 January.

Davidovic, who hails from the Croatian capital Zagreb, will play at the impressive venue which is set amidst the enchanting surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens, in the shadows of Sydney’s thriving CBD, ‘A Walk Through Time’ is a whimsical study of three of the great composers played on three specialist instruments.

The programme, which starts at 6:30pm, will include Mozart: Rondo K511, Beethoven: Sonata Op.2 No.1, Chopin: Ballade Op. 47, Chopin: Scherzo Op. 31, Chopin: Nocturne Op.9 No.1, and Chopin: Nocturne Op.27 No.2. Entry is free on the night.

“You’ve heard of Croatia’s 2CELLOS, but they have nothing on Inja Davidovic’s 3PIANOS!” – Greg Uric
