Croatian language & culture semester course about to start at Croaticum

Learn the Croatian language and culture

ZAGREB, 6 February 2019 – Croaticum – Centre for Croatian as a Second and Foreign Language at the Department for Croatian Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb is taking enrolments for its Croatian language and culture semester course.

This one-semester course of Croatian language and culture takes place over 15 weeks starting on 25 February 2019. Each day students learn Croatian in 3 lessons (3×45 minutes), which totals 225 contact hours of language learning in one semester which ends on 7 June 2019. 

In addition to learning the language, the students can choose to learn more about Croatian language and culture through elective courses. Participation in elective courses is not charged additionally and includes topics such as Croatian ethnological heritage, film, everyday culture, pronunciation, literature and more. 

The Semester Course of the Croatian Language and Culture is accredited as Language Exercises in Croatian as a Second and Foreign Language. Successful completion of the programme earns students 14 ECTS credits. Classes are organised at different levels. 

The cost of the 225 lesson, 15-week Semester Course of the Croatian Language and Culture costs 700 euros.
