Croatian Knocks Out Former Champion at French Open in First Round

Tomljanović, who is ranked 72nd in the world, beat the 2010 champion 6-3, 6-3. The 21-year-old Zagreb right-hander was too good for the Italian in what was their first encounter, breaking her serve four times in the first set.
