Croatian island town searching for the most successful private accommodation providers

Croatian island town looking for the most successful private accommodation renters

The town of Jelsa on the Croatian island of Hvar is searching for the most successful private lessors of rooms, apartments and holiday homes.  

A tourist town with a large number of private accommodation offers, the award for the “Most Successful Landlords” is part of an initiate from the Jelsa municipality in rewarding all those lessors of private accommodation who have achieved excellent results in the past year.

“We hereby invite all valuable landlords to join this project in which the excellence, quality and originality of the offer will be valorised. The project of rewarding the most successful landlords is an additional incentive to all those who from year to year systematically invest in the quality and requirements of guests, and their efforts and work contribute to the tourist destinations,” the Jelsa municipality said. 

Private renters of rooms, apartments and holiday homes in the Municipality of Jelsa can apply for award. The public call is open from January 16, 2022.

The winners receive:

1st prize: HRK 2,000.00 and a gold plaque
2nd prize: HRK 1,500.00 and a silver plaque
3rd prize: HRK 1,000.00 and a bronze plaque

The three selected finalists will be presented in the media and on the website of the Jelsa Tourist Board, as an example of good practice in tourism.
