Croatian High Jumper on Top of the World

Ana Šimić on Wednesday has won the IAAF World Challenge in China with a personal best jump of 1.98 metres. The victory goes with her win just three days ago at the Diamond League meeting in Shanghai.

“China is my promised land. A new personal best and the leading result in the world, I am very happy! This is definitely my year, after years of training finally everything has come into place,” said Ana after her victory on Wednesday. (pic: Reuters)
