The Croatia U-18 women’s team has won the U-18 UEFA Women’s Development Tournament which was held over the last week in Macedonia…
The Croatian girls, led by coach Marija Margareta Damjanović, claimed victory after going through the tournament unbeaten.
After thumping Moldovia 6-1, and beating Wales 2-1, Croatia needed to beat hosts Macedonia. A brace from Petra Pezelj ensured that Croatia won the match 2-1 and the tournament.
Pezelj was also the winner of the tournament’s Golden Boot – with four goals.
Well done, girls.
