Croatian Football Side Forced To Train In Corridor

The are nicknamed the “red devils”, but their preparation for this weekend’s match could not be more different from that of their english ‘nick’ namesakes Manchester United.

Croatian first division side RNK Split were forced to train in a corridor at the club’s headquarters on Tuesday ahead of this weekend’s match against Zagreb, after they ran into difficulty finding an indoor space to train in when the weather forced them inside. To make things even more challenging, Zoran Vulic’s side had to share the corridor space with the youth team, reported portal Dalmacijanews.

RNK Split has only one indoor football pitch and its reserve training ground has been in poor condition for a while now, turning into something more fit for water polo than football whenever there is substantial rain as there has been this week in Split.
