Croatian Festival up for Best European Festival Award


Croatia’s largest open-air festival is once again among the best European festivals. This year INmusic Festival – Croatia has been nominated for the European Festival Award in the category of ‘Best Medium-Sized Festival’, reports website net.hr.

Voting takes place from 5 October to 7 November on the webiste: eu.festivalawards.com, with all voters having the opportunity to win festival tickets and the new iPad 3.

Festivals who make it through to the second round of voting will be announced on Monday 12 November, with the award being announced on 9 January 2013 at a ceremony held during the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival and Conference in the Netherlands.

INmusic, which is in its 8th year and is held at Zagreb’s Lake Jarun, was on CNN’s top 50 festivals in the world list and also voted in the top 20 European festivals by the London Times.
