Croatian Dumps World Number 3 Out of French Open

CroatiaMore success for Croatian women’s tennis at a Grand Slam after Ajla Tomljanović has dumped World Number 3 Agnieszka Radwanska out of the French Open on Friday…

Tomljanović (21) was too good for the former World number 2, beating the Polish favourite 6-4, 6-4 to achieve her best ever career result and advance through to the 4th round at Roland Garros.
“I am very happy. I gave it my all and managed to eliminate the third seed from the tournament. This is a big day in my career. I had a plan how to play against her, I tried to play aggressive, and not make too many mistakes. It all worked it,” said Ajla after the match. (pic: TennisForum.com)
