Croatian Diaspora Gather for One Big Party

Croats from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Sweden and even Australia partied to the early hours of the morning to the tunes of some of Croatia’s most popular singers who made the short journey to the Fraport Arena in Frankfurt. Gibonni, Oliver Dragojević, Mate Bulić, Crvena jabuka, Bruno Baković, Colonia and Slavonia bend were the drawcards on the night. This year’s Croatia Night was the 6th year in a row that it has been held, with organisers already talking about the 7th edition next year.

“I love all people, especially our people. I don’t like the word diaspora, it does not sound nice. A Croatian, no matter what corner of the world they are, has the love of Milan Bandić,” said Zagreb’s Mayor Bandić, who attended the night.
