Croatian Delegation In Indonesia

A Croatian delegation is in Indonesia where they will attend meetings aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two nations.

Croatia’s head of Trade Policy Denis Cajo is leading the business delegation which will attend the meeting on Tuesday (23 April) that is in line with an agreement on economic and technical cooperation the governments of Indonesia and Croatia signed in 1997.

Trade between the two nations has been on the decline. In 2012 trade between Croatia and Indonesia totalled 53.7 million USD, 15% down on the previous year. Croatia exported 37% less commodities to Indonesia last year, and imported 8% less.
