Croatia has got itself yet another political party. Croatian Dawn – the Party of the People officially became the 141st political party in the country after an inauguration ceremony in the capital Zagreb yesterday (Saturday).
Croatian Dawn’s leader Milan Kujundzic had a dig in his opening address at both the current ruling power the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the strongest opposition party the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), saying that the rotating political elite have just pushed Croatia into an industrial, financial and moral crisis, forcing Croatians to lose faith in politics. Kujundzic said Croatian Dawns priority would be to fight against poverty and to try to keep young people and their families in Croatia. Croatian Dawn will be committed to the principles of popular democracy and will foster the values of the Christian heritage.
