Croatian Davis Cup Selector Becomes Borna Ćorić’s New Coach

Current World number 92 and winner of this year’s ATP Star of Tomorrow award, Borna Ćorić, has a new coach…

Ćorić, who beat Rafael Nadal at the Swiss Indoors last month whilst being ‘coachless’, has announced that he will team up with current Croatia Davis Cup coach Željko Krajan.

“It’s a pleasure to announce that I have started working with Željko. He is a lot of experience on the tour and I am excited to work with him and have the opportunity to learn a lot. I believe we can be a great team and achieve a number of successes together,” said Ćorić.

Krajan, who was a Top 100 player himself, has also enjoyed success in coaching. Apart from leading the Croatia Davis Cup team, Krajan took Russian Dinara Safina to World number one. He has also coached Dominika Cibulkova and Brit Laura Robson.
