“I would like to present Dinamo’s new signing, it was a tough fight. Real Madrid and Barcelona were both fighting for him but we managed to secure the transfer,” said Dinamo Zagreb’s Director of Sport Zoran Mamic, when he presented new signing, 37-year old Ivica Vrban on Thursday.
The elevator technician signed an official contract for the club for one day after wining a radio station competition. The Radio Antena Zagreb prize of signing an official contract for one day with the Croatian champions was won by Zagreb resident Vrban after he done the most juggles out of the three finalists in the station’s studio.
Vrban was presented with the number 37 shirt at the clubs’ headquarters after signing the contract, before training with the first team in the afternoon, reported daily newspaper 24sata.
