Croatian Bar Paying You To Drink There

Ever heard the expression ‘You couldn’t pay me to eat or drink there”, well, thanks to a photograph sent in by one of our readers, there is a bar in Croatia that is prepared to do exactly that – by giving you cash with your tea.

Mistakes on menus occur all over the world, from ‘lost in translation’ to fat fingers on the keyboard, there have been some classics, including an offer to get smallpox at a restaurant in Split as portal Total Split reported.

Tea with Money please, and hold the tea.

Yesterday we received this photo from the island of Rab where one of readers was shocked to see the 11th item on the drinks price list.  Caj s Medom ili Limunom (Tea with Honey or Lemon), has been translated, as you can see, to Tea with Honey or Money. If you have come across any menu shockers in Croatia please send pics into: [email protected]
