Following yesterday’s draw for the fifth edition of the UEFA Nations League, UEFA has now released the full match schedule and kick-off dates for the 2026 group stage.

Croatia have been placed in a tough group alongside Spain, England and the Czechia.

September Away Double-Header

Croatia will begin their campaign on 26 September 2026 with an away match against the Czech Republic. Three days later, on 29 September, the Vatreni travel to Spain for another challenging fixture.

October Home Fixtures – But No Fans Against England

October brings two home fixtures. Croatia will host England on 3 October, followed by Spain on 6 October.

However, the match against England will be played behind closed doors.

Due to a sanction imposed by UEFA following fan trouble during last year’s Nations League quarter-final against France, Croatia’s first home match must be played without fans.

In addition, Croatian supporters will not be permitted to attend the opening away fixture in the Czechia as part of the same disciplinary measures.

Group Stage Concludes in November

The group stage concludes in November with Croatia travelling to England on 12 November before finishing the campaign at home against the Czechia on 15 November.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
