Croatia To Get Its First Dance Studies

Croatia is about to get its first dance study programme. This autumn two three-year undergraduate study programmes will begin in Croatia for the first time – Contemporary dance (performance and educational specialisation) and ballet pedagogy.

Students will get the chance to work with teachers from the Faculty of Teacher Education, Faculty of Kinesiology and professors from the Academy of Dramatic Arts and other faculties of Zagreb University during the studies. There will also be things like the theory of dance, drama and theatre history, art history, aspects of music, and dramaturgy for dancers which will give the dancers a broader education. Experts from Holland, Russia, the UK and the US will be also be involved in the programme.
