Croatia to Face Poland in Davis Cup

Poland beat Russia on the weekend to set up a clash with Croatia in the 2nd Round of Group I in the Europe/Africa Zone. The tie will be played in Poland from 4-6 April.

“They will be difficult opponents, especially since we are also playing away. I would say that our chances are 50-50,” Croatia’s coach Željko Krajan said on Sunday.

Poland’s highest ranked player is Jerzy Janowicz (ranked 21 in the world), whilst Croatia’s highest ranked player is Ivan Dodig, who has a world ranking of 34.
