Croatia to be Presented to American & Canadian Tourism Journalists

During the one-day Visit Europe Media Exchange events, the Croatian National Tourist Board will aim to further enhance the arrivals from North America to Croatia, a region that this year recorded double-digit growth. Visit Europe Media Exchange has been held in the US for more than 10 years now and is an established media event now, says the Tourism Board.

Representation from the Croatian Tourist Board in New York, in collaboration with the Zagreb and Istria Tourist Boards, will present in each of the cities, during which journalists will present news from the destinations.

Croatia from January to October this year has been mentioned, or has been a major topic in a total of 334 articles in U.S. and Canadian media. During this period, the U.S. and Canadian market generated a total of  277,374 arrivals to Croatia, an increase of 23.4 percent, says the CTB.
