SPLIT, 9 October 2019 – If you have ever dreamed about having a Croatian football shirt hanging on your wall which was worn in a match by Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic or any of the nation’s stars, now is your chance.

Croatia will be the first national team in the world to donate all worn match shirts from a competitive match for an online charity auction.

After tomorrow night’s EURO 2020 qualifier against Hungary at Poljud Stadium in Split, Modric, Rakitic, Perišic, Lovren, Vida and the rest of the squad will give their match shirts up for an online auction with proceeds going to the Vatreno Srce Foundation.

The foundation was founded and is operated by the Croatian national team and coach. For a number of years now, the Croatian team have helped kids and youngsters through the foundation. Last year they donated funds to the Children’s Hospital for the Korak u život campaign.

All match shirts will be available for fans to bid for in an online auction on the website www.matchwornshirt.com. From the start of the match (20:45) bids will be accepted with the auction ending in four days. All shirts will have the start price of 89 euros, with shipping included anywhere in the world.

All shirts will have the Croatia-Hungary badges and will be signed by the player wearing the shirt.

You can join the auction and support the foundation from kick-off tomorrow on www.matchwornshirt.com.
