Croatia, missing star player Dragan Bender after a footwear contract dispute, beat China in the Round of 16 yesterday 75:68. Ivica Zubac top scored for Croatia in the victory with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Luka Božić was next best with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Croatia face Canada, who beat South Korea yesterday in the Round of 16, on Friday. Australia, Turkey, USA, Italy, Greece and Spain are the other quarter-finalists.
