Croatia squad for 2020 European Handball Championship named

ZAGREB, 5 December 2019 – Croatia handball coach Lino Červar has named his squad of 28 players on Thursday for the 2020 European Championships.

The 2020 EHF European Men’s Handball Championship will be the 14th edition of the tournament and co-hosted for the first time in three countries, Austria, Norway and Sweden from 10 to 26 January 2020, and the first that will feature 24 teams.

The squad named today, which will be cut to 16 before the tournament, does not feature Manuel Štrlek for the first time since 2010. There was also no room in the squad for five players who took part in the last World Championships – Blažević, Slisković, Vranković, Bičanić and Bećiri.
