The idea of positioning Croatia as one of the most interesting gastronomical and wine destinations in Europe is behind the new online project Croatia Revealed that offers products by well known Croatian winemakers, distilleries, craft breweries, olive oil producers and truffle sellers.

The project was conceived from exclusive wine tours lead by sommelier Ante Palac on the Croatian coast that have generated big interest from international guests.

“The tours were focused around the top Croatian wine offer, along with winery visits and tasting of the best Croatian wines. After each tour we got numerous inquiries about the availability of certain wines on the international market. That is how we got the idea to create a unique place where the best of Croatia’s wine and gastronomical offer will be gathered,” says Ante Palac, the co-founder of Croatia Revealed.

Production of First Istrian craft beer San Servolo is based on the old German law about the purity of beer from 1516. The law allows only four ingredients in the beer production process: barley, hops, yeast and water. In production of San Servolo, the latter is used from a nearby spring, giving the beer its distinctive freshness. All seven sorts of beer produced at the brewery in Buje can be found in the Croatia Revealed online shop.
