Croatia Returns From European Universities Games in Rotterdam with 5 Medals

More than 2830 competitors from 34 countries participated in ten different sporting events at this year’s games (badminton, basketball, football, futsal, handball, rowing, rugby 7′s, table tennis, tennis and volleyball), with 122 Croatians from four universities and one polytechnic taking part in the Netherlands and winning an impressive five medals.

Croatia’s best results came in the table tennis and futsal event, with the Zagreb University team, and the VERN team winning silver in both. Croatia picked up bronze medals in three other events – tennis (Split University), rowing (Zagreb University), table tennis (Mateja Magličić from Zagreb University in singles event).
