Croatia names team for Davis Cup play-off v India, Coric ruled out

ZAGREB, 25 February 2020 – Davis Cup coach Vedran Martic has named his team for Croatia’s play-off tie against India.

Croatia will meet India for a place in the 2020 Davis Cup Finals in Zagreb from 6-7 March and on Tuesday Martic named his line-up. Missing from the team is Croatian no.1 Borna Coric who is ruled out with an arm injury. 

Croatia’s team for the Davis Cup play-off tie against India:  

Marin Cilic, Borna Gojo, Nino Serdarusic, Ivan Dodig, Mate Pavic. 

Matija Pecotic will take part in training sessions with the team in the lead up to the match which will be played at Dom Sportova in Zagreb. 

The winner of the match will book a place at the 2020 Davis Cup Finals which will be played in Madrid later this year, joining Spain, Canada, Great Britain, Serbia, France and Russia who have already qualified. 

Tickets for the match are available online at ulaznice.hr and via Dekod. A two-day package costs 70 kn for category 1 tickets and 50 kuna for category 2 tickets. One-day tickets are 40 kuna (category 1) and 30 kuna (category 2). The match kicks-off on Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m.
